அந்நியன் (Anniyan)

– Proven successful formula( Indian + Gentleman etc., ) with different flavor – Multiple Personality Disorder
– Matrix has been reloaded in the fight sequences and they have done it very well!
– Throw your logical brain in the dust bin; go enjoy it…

I liked the movie…I’ll watch it again 🙂

Visted www.anniyan.com and asked what punishment “garuda purana” gives for those who sell tickets in black for this movie 🙂
( you need to see this movie to u’stand it )

    >hey krish.. so u liked anniyan??
oh.. i watched it the second day itself with lots of my friends.. but, we all were feeling dissatisfied.. not upto the usual Shankar’s mark… I felt Indian, muthalvan, gentleman far better than this…
Vikram was ofcourse good, but first half was boring… the last half an hour was tooo good,i accept tht…
songs were also completely out of place, missed ARR in this… but the location and settings in songs were asusual great.. but, overall not upto shankar’s usual level.. jus my feeling on tht..

  • Krish

    >QAnonymous:
I didn’t see any Tamil movie in the last three months. So I am not sure, how much effect it had on this movie 🙂

  • Nep

    >It was a pretty normal movie for shankar’s calibre. After seeing that movie, i got why he did not release it with Chandramukhi.. both of them talk about MPD and in that it talks a little about it and it was more clear for most of the B, C centre audience. I don’t know how much this film would reach those audience. Its like one time watchable movie 🙂 As i have said in one of the review in suntv style… “Anniyan adithu irupadhu sixer alla, single mattumae” 😀

    >hey krish, that anonymous person was me.. donno why it went in as anonymous. may be cos of misspelt pwd.. 🙁

    >Its Like Kumdam review ( Gentleman + Indian).. which made me to write. Glad that you enjoyed and planning to watch again.. As you said Leave alone the logic but the see emphasize on following rules which is really needed in this technology era of India. We (most of us) guys have been in many countries and we blindly follow the rules of that visiting country with proud saying that every things are damn good there! But, what happens when we back home !! I will not accept to say just as other two movies.. They both addressed the core issues. Not abiding the rules is the root cause of all the social and environmental issue caused not following rules and *flouting* the rules. Of course, the pities thing is to watch this movie in the black ! .. But, if there is no buyers in the black (assume we follow the rules)…how can sell :))
