Blog on Budget…belated…

I have been so busy from this Monday…still busy…..not even reading blogs, as and when they gets updated 🙂 and not reading about the budget updates and calculating how much i would save/lose this year …:)

Friends are still debating about the Budget ..especially the 10Rs for 10000Rs withdrawal…anyway, annoyed them with my logic why it should be there :)))))

Just now, I recieved this mail from one of my friends:

A little boy wanted Rs.50 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened. Finally he decided to write God a letter requesting for Rs.50.

When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, INDIA, they decided to forward it to the PM of the India as a joke The PM was so amused, that he instructed his Secretary to send the little boy Rs.20. The PM thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy, and he did not want to spoil the kid.

The little boy was delighted with Rs.20, and decided to write a thank you note to God, which read:

“Dear God:

Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that you sent it through the PM Office in New Delhi, and those donkeys deducted Rs.30 in taxes … “

That is really a good joke.
I think the foolish 10 Rs for Rs10,000 withdrawl won’t be there. It will be withdrawn, cause no idiots (as well as wise fools) supporting that…
Any way I’m planning to visit India.. How about meeting you there?

  • Nth Dimension

    >Just a question on the 0.1% tax on cash withdrawals over Rs 10k.

Will this apply only in case you withdraw hard-cash from your account? Or will this also apply when you debit your account to pay for a draft? What about Electronic Fund Transfers?

  • Kangs(கங்கா)

    >Since, you did not visit my site for the past one week, my Visiter#s reduced badly.. 🙂 LOL
